Keith Terrelle Cummings, Sr. was born on January 31, 1983, to the proud parents, Sheila Winston and Edward Snell in Los Angeles, CA but later resided in Las Vegas, NV.
Keith accepted Christ at an early age. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where he spent most of his time in the Imperial Courts Housing Projects and got the name “Dirty” or “Low Down”. Keith attended Hooper Elementary School, Henry Clay Middle School, Locke High School, and then went on to graduate from Jordan High School.
Middle school is where Keith found a passion for basketball. He was so good and cold he called himself Kobe, then goes on to call himself “Black Mumba.” He also had a passion for money and cars. He was family oriented and a great friend.
In 2015, Keith moved to Las Vegas, NV with his family where he worked as a warehouse manager and dedicated 8 years to GLS. In 2021, Keith was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. However, he did not let his cancer diagnosis slow him down. He kept a positive attitude throughout his battle with his illness. In 2022, Keith married his best friend and long life partner of 17 years.
On May 5, 2023, Keith took his last breath and was reunited with his grandparents (Saundra Winston, Beatrice and Baily Snell, Maxine Houser), auntie (Kimmala Patrice Winston), brother (Kevin Goodrum), and cousin (Maurice Kelly). He leaves to cherish his parents, Sheila Winston and Edward Snell, stepfather, Ira White, his grandfather, Donald Winston (Barbara Winston), his wife Jaquitta Cummings, five children, Keith Cummings Jr, Kentrell Cummings, Marqeit, Annaleah and Wonderful, brother, Travis Snell , sister, Kimberly Snell and godmother Shirley Augustine and a host of uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
