James Arthur Brown II was born, March 30, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia to Martha Early and James Brown Sr., both of whom have preceded him in death. As a boy he attended and graduated from Trinity Elementary School, George Washington Carver Junior High School, and Thomas Jefferson High School. As a young man, after high school, he worked as a Cashier at a Liquor Store, and he spent twenty years working at Beulah Baptist Church before he retired. He was a man who loved his children, loved his community, loved to laugh, loved to make others laugh, loved to fish and above all else he loved the Lord.
After his retirement he still attended church and spent time with loved ones and friends. He always knew how to make us laugh; he was the life of the party. He also knew how to enjoy life and spent most of his spare time fishing.
We may not remember every joke he told, because he told them all the time, but we will remember how he made us feel. We will remember how he made us laugh so hard we forgot what was funny, we will remember is smile because it lit up the room. He may not have been the best dancer, but that didn’t stop him from moving his feet when he wanted to have a good time. He was a faithful servant of the Lord, he lived a full life and on May 11, 2022, the Lord called him home.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his son James Brown III, his daughter Marquita Brown, his brother Wayne Early and a host of other family members and loved ones.
