On December 25, 1939, Emma Jean Amalfitano was born. She was born to Irene Mae Callahan and George Washington Archer. Jean and her mother were close. She was the first born of four siblings, Charlotte, George, Billy, Michael. She grew up in Pennsylvania, where she met a man and fell in love. They moved to California and began a family. She became a mom to four children, Andy, Jean Michelle, Rose, and Cathy.
Later she became a grandmother.
In her later years she worked as a caregiver to the elderly. She also joined the Grandma program at a preschool, where she loved being with the kids. Some things she enjoyed were being in her church choir, fishing, and going to the beach. She loved seashells. She loved talking on the phone with her siblings.
During the last couple of years of her life she had a stroke. During this time, she was being taken care ofby a wonderful person named Michele, who was sent by God. She loved Miss Jean and took care of her like she was her own mother. Miss Jean loved Michele and was very grateful for her. Miss Jean also loved Erick, Marissa and Deanna. Thank you for taking care of her! On October 27, 2024 Emma Jean Amalfitano went home to be with Jesus.
