Debra Delores Lee was born in St. Louis Missouri, on October 3, 1954, to the union of Louis Edward Lee and Sadie Louise Lee. Debra was the eldest of three. Debra was baptized at an early age, at Westside Missionary Baptist Church in St. Louis. The family moved to Los Angeles in 1967. In 1971, the family moved to Kansas City, Kansas. Three years later the family relocated back to Los Angeles, California and stayed.
Debra began a career in retail sales where she worked for several years. She later began a career with the Community Coalition in Los Angeles where she excelled. Debra dedicated herself to community causes and community enhancement. The Coalition loved Debra so much, that they created a mural of her and her great granddaughter on the side of the building which still stands on the corner of 81st and Vermont Avenue, today. Debra loved her family and everyone that surrounded her.
On the afternoon of June 11, 2022, God saw that Debra was tired and sent His angels down to receive her and at 12:57pm she went from labor to reward.
